"We just love this rug! The colors are great, better than what we expected from the catalog and internet pictures. Perfect for using under a high use kitchen table. It's not showing any stains from all the food my toddler drops on it (We ordered it online in Dec 07). It's not showing any wear from where our chairs drag along it. I wish I could afford one of these rugs in different colors for every room in our house! I haven't had to have it washed yet and don't expect to for quite some time, but it looks new like the day we first laid it out. Highly recommend for high traffic and under table areas if you have to have a rug there."

"I bought this rug for my family room about a year ago, and it is coming apart. The outer ring is coming apart from the rest of the rug, I have dogs and thier nails caused pieces of the rug to come up."

"I purchased 4 wool braided rugs from Bean 14 years ago. They wore well in my kitchen. When I redid my kitchen this Spring I didn't hesitate to purchased 5 new wool braided rugs in a different color. My old rugs still had life in them and my friend asked me if she could have them. So now she is enjoying them. The rugs are excellent because they are very well made and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good looking rug that lasts."

"Just put hardwood floors in a very busy family room that has three entrances. We also have two dogs. This rug (we bought it in large bright multi) looks beautiful and is so easy to keep clean. We bought Bean "waterhogs" for the entrances and they are the perfect fit for this room. We would have got rid of the "wall to wall" carpet and put in hardwood long ago if we knew that Bean had the answer to how to keep the floors "safe", and still look beautiful. Thanks to your customer service dept for helping me to make the right decisions."

"i ordered 4 of the smallest wool braided rugs. the Blue Yellow, Denim Blue and 2 of the Honey Multi. they are beautiful. occasionally i see a loose braided piece but i just take my trusty crochet hook and pull it through to the other side and it's good to go. i had tried to find braided rugs to replace my old old ones but these gems are hard to find. i wasn't a customer of LLBean then but i sure am now and hope to be for many years to come. the colors of the rugs are terrific. they sure brighten up a room and make it feel so cozy and warm and inviting you to stay awhile with a cup of tea."

Seemed small, but...,

"I bought the rug for a specific area of my home and measured according to the dimensions provided on the web site. I failed to adjust for the "ovalness" of the rug though and it seemed small for the area I'd imagined it to cover. Also, the colors shown on the website did not seem to be the colors of the rug. Again, not anyone's fault, but I could have sworn I saw a bit of pink in the on line colors of the green rug I purchased and it turned out to be tan.I found a different spot for the rug and it looks great at the kitchen sink area, though I am concerned about frequent soiling of the rug by the various activities which take place in this area. It IS lovely though and makes our home seem much more cozy. I feel happy when I walk into the kitchen and view it each morning! I plan to buy more colors and sizes for other areas of the home after I see how this one wears."

"The catalog does not do justice to this rug! I bought the "Bright Multi" medium rug for our newly decorated guest room and I was thrilled! It is simply gorgeous and the colors are amazing. "I recently got new hardwood floors, 3 year wish, and I purchased the rugs for doorways, in front of my sink and even in my laundry room. The colors are so pretty and they vacuum really well. During the "reno" the floors guys walked all over my rugs and they were filled with saw dust and dirt. I thought they were ruined. But, I just took the vacuum to them and they are back to beautiful. Thanks for this great product!!"

"I gave this product 4 stars because the rugs are beautiful and LL Bean stands by their products. The product does need some improvement. We have 2 bright multi rugs in our front hall, a runner and a 3x5. Overall we really like them as do our guests. The color is perfect for us. The problem we have had is that the stitching comes loose. We returned the 3x5 after only a few months and now the second 3x5 is "falling apart." The braids on the runner are also separating after about 2 years. LL Bean is great and has advised us to return the rugs for replacement. No problem. We have other braided rugs throughout the house, all of them wool, some expensive and some relatively cheap. They all older than the LL Bean rugs, get much heavier traffic and cleaning. None of them have so much as a loose stitch. I wish LL Bean would tell Capel to do a better job with their "Super Seam®, a rugged, break-resistant polyester thread that ensures durability" because it is the only less than super thing about this product."

"This rug is GREAT. I can't say enough good things about it. Along with my boat and tote, hands down the best things LLBean offers (in my opinion.) Totally classic. I got the honey multi for my hoome office with red and cream accents. Works perfect with the decor; not overpoweringly red and has pretty hints of light blue, cream, brown, camel, white, and black. Very sturdy, but feels really comfy under my feet. Thanks LLBean!"

"I purchased a braided rug from LL Bean a long time ago...it is great to see that the quality is still the same. This time, I purchased the 3X5 rug in bright multi. In person it is MUCH brighter than it appeared on my computer screen. The colors even look different. But that said, I really do like the vibrant colors and plan to keep it. It is a beautiful and well- constructed, Made in USA, rug."
