"We just love this rug! The colors are great, better than what we expected from the catalog and internet pictures. Perfect for using under a high use kitchen table. It's not showing any stains from all the food my toddler drops on it (We ordered it online in Dec 07). It's not showing any wear from where our chairs drag along it. I wish I could afford one of these rugs in different colors for every room in our house! I haven't had to have it washed yet and don't expect to for quite some time, but it looks new like the day we first laid it out. Highly recommend for high traffic and under table areas if you have to have a rug there."

"The colors on this were perfect (and very close to the catalog page; I checked that as well as the online reproductions). It arrived sooner than I was told it would. The quality is very good -- the braids are firm, the stitching is sound. It feels wonderful to the hand and underfoot and the colors make my living room cheery in all different slants of light.
Best of all, it was created of natural fibers here, in the US, by American workers, subject to all wage and hour and safety laws. I know when my children play on that rug that it wasn't made by other children who were sold by their parents. And I know that it isn't full of lead dust, or finished with a spritz of formaldehyde."

"We have the room size, the runner and a small oval in front of a chair! They wear wonderfully, clean up easily and add warmth and comfort to our home. We can't say enough about these rugs. Old time quality/feel, great colors! Don't drag chairs or anything with weight as they will pull and stretch and you could even break the stitches. We have 3 young kids and our room size is under the dining room table. So far, it is tougher than they are!!!"

"Six years ago I purchased a braided rug (honey multi) to go under my dining room table. It still looks really great. Also, I have 2 cats who are testers for this rug. Each day they have scratched, clawed and took their naps on it. My cats have been unable to destroy this braided rug. I am so impressed with this rug, I have purchased a new one (grass green) to put in the family room to give it warmth for this winter. It maybe more expensive than other braided rugs out there but I feel this rug will last many years to come (worth it). This is a well made USA product, high quality and durability. And is cat tested."

"I just received my 8 x 11 AshBlue/Brown braided rug and really like it. The reason I want to write this review is because when deciding which color rug to buy I read some reviews from people who had trouble with the colors matching the catalog or the website photos. My rug matches the photo in the catalog almost exactly. I am VERY pleased with the color! I would recommend going by the catalog photos as opposed to the website, which is what the customer service rep. suggested. The only reason why I didn't give the rug a 5 star rating is because I would prefer the rug to be a bit heavier, BUT, otherwise I'm very happy with it."

"First, make sure if you are using these rugs on urethaned hardwood floors that you buy the non-slip pad to go under them. They are very slippery.
Second, the colors on the web site are very misleading. We bought the Lake Blue and they are much brighter than the colors shown on the web site. The web shows the colors to be more muted, as I wish the ones we bought were.
Otherwise, the quality of the items themselves seem quite good."

"While the quality of the rug was great, the color, however, was not. Some of the greens were too cool, i.e. lime green and blue green. They were not a "warm" palette as shown in the catalogue and on the website."

"We have one round under our dining room table and one oval in our living room. they are both terrific - the colors are great. If I had one complaint, it would be that I should have purchased a backing to go under the one in the living room as it is a slippery little devil!"

"We loved this rug however the color was not as pictured in the catalog or on the internet. The color of the grass green rug was much more bright and vivid than expected. Lime green wasn't really what I had in mind for the living room. Quality is great thou - wish the color had been more true to picture."

"I bought this for my bathroom. I've had it for about 4 months now. I can tell it will hold up well and last way beyond any other rugs I could have bought. I like the easy care and that I'll be able to flip it later if needed and have a whole new side! Wool lasts and resists soiling. I get so many compliments on this rug. I bought the Blue and Yellow one."

"What a disappointment from a rug company(Capel) that I thought meant quality. It's very nice to look at and has a good feel, but the threads holding the braids break easily. I even returned one and within 2 weeks the threads on the new one started breaking. We have ours in front of a sliding door that we don't use that often, but our pets like to sit on it to look out the glass. It's protected from the sun in the summer with an outdoor shade, so that's not the problem. I can't quite figure it out, but what a waste of money."
