Needlepoint Stockings,

"I had planned to make the six needlepoint stockings we needed for our family--but then I saw the LLBean Christmas Catalog and knew I was saved from that enormous task. I ordered one of each design with a monogrammed name on each. Instead of the expected several weeks of waiting, the stockings arrived in about a week & all were perfect, high quality, and just what I'd hoped they would be. Thank you, LLBean, for saving Grandma from a huge job. Our Christmas mantel will be a thing of beauty with these six lovely holiday stockings. Grandma Susan"

"I ordered 3 of these (different designs) for Christmas gifts for my kids and their new baby. They were quite beautiful and very well made. THe monogramming was also well done. "I purchased six of these stockings and now that makes ten that we own. I have one for each of my grandchildren and now the whole family. The order was completed very quickly and it was perfect, all names correct and the embroidery was nice. Makes the perfect decoration for my fireplace. "The stocking was a huge hit with the children. They absolutely loved them. They are a good size and I was able to fit more than I thought in them. The only drawback on one of them was that the needlepoint quality was not the greatest, it was too tight so the stocking was bunchy and you could see the canvas. The next one I ordered was fine."

"LL Bean never disappoints me. My stocking arrived in time to be hung for Christmas Eve and awaited Santa. The stocking's colors were clear and bright and the overall construction was extremely substantial, holding its shape when stuffed with packages from Santa. The letters of the personalization were well stitched, although I wish that they could have been slightly larger. Overall, it was a gorgeous addition to our stocking collection."

"Cute stocking that is well made. The only issue I saw was that one stocking I ordered had white writing that was easy to read. The other three had a red tone and it did not stand out as well. Still, great stocking that held a lot!"
