"good solid weather / barometer / clock / clock alarm....only two things in my opinion .... to get the stand at an angle is a little stiff.... would have been nicer to have a slide on battery compartment...those tiny screws are a little bit inconvient...otherwise great buy."

"although I did not recommend this item, it is for the most part good. The reason for the 'no' is one must have a very small phillips screwdriver to take the back off in order to install batteries. I had to go buy one. If the back slid off like most battery compartments, I would recommend it."

"I am not as pleased with this Travel Weather Alarm Clock as I am with the other LL Bean Travel Alarm Clock (Nightfinder). It is more difficult to set with the buttons on the back, etc. and the modes are not easy to determine. I like the weather feature, but given the two, I would get another Nightfinder."

"Has a solid feel. Seems like it will survive a suitcase trip. Nice to have the humidity and weather sign. Good design on the adjustable support in the back. Has snooze feature. Shows date and time. Haven't tested the alarm yet, but expect it is good."

"The barometric pressure readings via icons are very inaccurate and the the alarm is so low that my teenage daughter (who has better hearing than me) said it was a joke and would never hear it asleep and couldn't really hear it 10 ft away from the unit. The battery insertion requires a very small phillips screwdriver. The set up was ez enough but there were no instructions for timezone and one had to guess what the abbreviations meant. Don't buy!"

"LL Bean nicely traded my little travel alarm clock for one that has an audible alarm. The first one could barely be heard. It predicts weather quite accurately, tells you inside and outside temps and so tiny, it neatly fits in my purse when we travel."

"I purchased this item to take with us on our winter vacations to Mexico, because you never hear what the temperature or the % humidity actually is! The heat feels great though after coming from Minnesota! This weather alarm clock was a BIG hit with our group!! Everyone kept asking me what the temperature was and how high was the humidity! I have actually bought several now to give as gifts to our friends that travel with us to Mexico! This is a great little traveling companion to have along!! Please keep making them!"

"Overall design and functionality of this item appeared a good value but after evaluating other reviews and trying 2 different clocks, product is erratic at best. Definitely not the quality product LLBean is known for. First clock was defective. Comparison against reference thermometer showed inconsistent variances of up to 4 degrees. Icon for weather forcasting remained on sunny while it was pouring down rain. Replacement clock was also defective. Inconsistencies in temperature remained. Mem button stuck. Barometric pressure trend indicated steady during the 4 days I've had the clock. During this time it was sunny, rainy and snowed. Am very disappointed and will return second clock and not reorder. Would seem that the quality control reviewers missed testing this item."
