This is "Jones" style but not your old waxed canvas flannel lined hat. It is a modern version with insulation and Gore Tex weather resistance. It is a brilliant Orange and highly visible. Nice ear flaps and the cap is true to size. I will he test-driving mine 11/6 on a Chukar Hunt.
A nice hat although a little snug even in the largest size. It is hard to find Jones style caps like this despite their utility. Please consider making one in brown.
I have been wearing the Jones hat for over fifty years and a few years back it was hard to find a good one so I thought to myself, I know who will have a good grade of jones hats, LL Bean. Bought a brown that I liked and had worn for years and a camo. Dont remember the cost but the quality was perfect and I said leave it to Bean to carry a good one. Jones hats are not to wad up and stick in your pocket. A good jones hat has a stiff brimand the crown will stand on its own. As I said been wearing them for over 50 years. My two were in bad shape so I said, Bean will still have a good one and man did I miss it.Went to the Bean website and saw that the orange was the only one they had but said ok, I will dye it another color cause I know it will be a good quality hat. Got it in the mail today and let me tell You about. Came in a bag not a box, mashed as flat as a pancake, brim like toilet tissue, liner not sawn to the crown, biggest piece of junk I have ever bought and surprised to get this junk from Bean and on top of that 45 dollars. For those of You that are pleased with this quality, You have never owned a quality Jones Hat. Forty five dollars is not a bad price for a good Jones hat but two dollars is too much for this junk and if You dont believe me just buy one.
My husband loves this hat. Exactly what he has been looking for when walking the dogs in the woods. Likes the feature where it covers his ears and neck on snowy mornings. Highly recommend this hat for its versatility in all types of cold weather
