We just received our cot in the mail. It looks alright, but is not exactly what I was hoping for. I read the reviews on line before I made the purchase and was hoping for a better solution to the standard air mattresses we've purchased in the past, but in this case I'm a bit disappointed. The mattress itself was a bit thin, and though the frame itself is light, I find closing it to be very hard. I'm sorry L.L.Bean - I love all your products, but this one we are in the process of sending back.
We went to visit friends this summer who had two of these cots. Our daughters slept on them. They really loved how comfortable they were. One night my husband ended up sleeping on the cot and found it surprisingly comfortable for a grown man. We thought that they were so great we purchased one for each set of grandparents for when we visit. We also purchased a cot for out of town guests for our small New York City apartment. We are able to store it under our bed. So easy to open and close. Compact and super comfortable. Way easier then a blow up mattress.
These are great! Grandsons are finally up of the floor and both said they slept well. Super easy to set up and take down. If you need temporary sleeping arrangements, these are perfect.
I shopped very hard before purchasing the Swedish Folding Cot. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and feel item is good value. Foam quality is excellent and, over sinuous spring support, provides awesomely comfortable sleep surface. I am 5'5 and weigh 145. I like everything about this item. Size open and folded are just what I was hoping to find, folds compactly and fits nicely in closet and car. Besides being non-bulky, folded cot is light-weight enough to easily carry, in one hand, up and down stairs. I would definitely buy this item again and have already told some friends/family about my awesome and comfy Swedish folding cot, regardless of whether persons are looking for cot or not. If/when they may do so, they know about this one!
