Before reading other reviews, my first inclination was "hey, for another $20, why not get the deluxe model." But after reading the reviews, it appears that the deluxe model was not as convenient or comfortable as the regular model. I have only slept on it once, but it was comfortable. I had 3 dogs trying to curl up next to me, so perhaps LL Bean should look into developing a wider model that would accomodate more than one person(or dog). Just a thought!
I purchased the cot for a guest staying with us for the next two months and it is in my opinion easier to use then air bed. The air bed usually took up too much space. My guest enjoys sleeping in the cot.
This bed is roomey and comfortable. I need it for some overflow and figured I should try it out first. I got a great nites sleep. The springs have support yet they also have a nice bounce. Plus, it's nice looking.
Have to say that cots are good for short term naps, but anything longer than that not so good. Guess it didn't quite make it as a guest bed, but I could see using it for camping and such.
Well made and strong, but not a bed for a long nights sleep especially for a few days.
