The cot was very comfortable. I could sleep on it all night. It was very quite in moving about on it. No squeking. When you did move to roll on your side, it did take a second for the motion of the springs to stop.
We reluctantly retired this cot to Goodwill today. Someone at our house slept in it every day, all summer, for four summers. We certainly "got our money's worth." At least one adult, between 130-200 pounds used it on our screened in porch for both summer naps and outdoor overnights. I persuaded my mom to buy one and she uses it for an extra bed for teenage grandchildren. I wanted to try using it for another summer, but the springs are now falling off and the support just isn't there. But, I bet my husband (200 lbs) logged hundreds of overnights in it. It isn't particularly long, but it is sturdy and comfortable for this price. My aging mom sets it up, too, as it just folds out. It comes with a foam pad and nice cotton cover that I washed a great deal and it held up very well. The only frustration for winter storage is getting the foam pad stored inside the cot. It never worked for me.
I'd recommend this cot to people under 6' and weighing under 200 lbs for napping and overnight sleeping while camping or on a porch.
MOST COMFORTABLE COT EVER!! No more blowing up air mattresses for us!!It is so compact yet roomy. My daugher has used it every night because she says its more comfy than her full size bed. I purchased the cabin fleece sleeping bag to use as a mattress cover. It works perfectly. If you are tired of messing with big heavy air mattresses try this. I promise you will love it.
This cot is amazing! I used to sleep on an air mattress when visiting my daughter. The cot is so much more comfortable and easy to set up and take down. I just throw my sleeping bag and camp pillow on it and I'm set for the night.
It's light weight, fits easily in the trunk of my Honda Civic, leaving room for a cooler, luggage and many other items.
I am so happy with this purchase, I can't say enough about it. It will be a great extra bed for guests when I'm not visiting my children. The cot doesn't take up a lot of space so storage isn't a problem when not in use.
The only thing I would add to it would be a zipper bag with a side handle for transport and storage.
