BUY IT! By far the most comfortable cot my husband & I have ever slept on. Width is perfect. Pad/matress is comfortable. Lightweight. Easily stowed. We're buying two more for our cabin and unexpected guests.
The Swedish Folding Cot could be an affordable option for those whose children have a sleepover guest. I am a small adult (100 lbs), but did not find it gave me enough support, especially while I was on my stomach. The Deluxe Swedish Folding Cot with slats might have been a better selection for me, but I did not try it. I wanted to keep the weight light, and this cot was easy for me to carry. When you store the unit, you must take the mattress out and slip in in the other side. It is easy to do, but it took me awhile to figure out that in order to snap it shut, I had to lay it flat on the floor. It is a nice piece of equipment and seemed to be well made, but it did not serve my purpose, which was to lie on my stomach (due to a lower back conditiion) and watch television.
I was looking for a bed that would store in a small space while not in use and that we could thow in the back of the van when we went to visit our children. We use it for sleep-over guests too and it is sturdy and comfortable (even for a 6 foot man). We have only had it for a short while so I'm hoping it continues to give us good service over the long haul but, so far, I'm very happy with this bed and would recommend it.
