I purchased this shirt for my husband. He has very severe skin problems and this is perfect for covering up in the hot sun (live in Houston, TX). It washes well but does need to be ironed. Some other shirts similar to this do not need ironing (different brand) so I would lean to purchasing those. This is a good quality shirt with a good fit.
I am a docent and lead tours at some Tucson attractions. In the summer, a big hat, sunscreen, and water are vital, so is this great shirt. Long sleeves keep the Sun off and the pockets are great for sunglasses, etc when our group heads indoors. It gets sweaty by the end of the tour, but washes up beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone who is out in the blazing Sun.
these shirts are the benchmark...have been for years, still wearing ones bought 10 years ago in Florida,,,went through 4 hurricanes that season and a tropical storm....wish they had one now in OD !
I've had these kind of shirts for years. Bought 5 new ones this year so far. Extremely comfortable and great for protecting me from the sun. Cool to wear in hot summer yet warm enough for winters in Georgia as well!! Highly recommended.
