I really wanted to test this shirt -- how about this -- Agra, India in the middle of summer -- Google says it's 102 degrees and "feels like 128" -- wore the shirt and Tropicwear pants and I felt great. Standing in front of the Taj Mahal I was the only one in the group that didn't look like a sweaty mess. Thanks LL Bean!
I recently bought two Tropicwear long sleeve shirts in Tysons Corner, Virginia and I would rate them as outstanding. I bought a light tan and a light blue. They suit me because I live in Florida and I must stay out of the sun because of medication; thus, the SPF 50 is sufficient and the shirt is light weight material. Go for it. Pedro
I have this shirt in several colors and love the design and fabric. On this order for two shirts, one was in the Lapis Quartz color. A lovely flinty dark blue. Unfortunately after the first washing, on delicate and cold water, the color faded badly. It lost the flinty quartz color and faded to a quite pleasant deep sky blue color. I am keeping the shirt because the color is ok to wear. But I do wish that it had retained the original flinty quartz color.
I have similar shirts from other vendors, but this is by far the best of the lot. I have been comfortable in 90+ degree sun and felt protected against being burned. The shirt is truly wicking and wetness quickly dries. Nothing about this shirt leaves something to be desired.
