Overall the shirt is quite satisfactory. The quality seems to be there for it to last. I am not sure why the collar is button-down. It seems to get in the way of adjusting the shirt for maximum protection from the sun - one of the prime reasons for getting a "safari" shirt.
The first set of these wonderful sun protective shirts I bought several years ago are still servicable, but I now wear them as heavy workshirts. They look and are great for any activity inside or out. I have worn them going thru some rough bush and they dont snag. They can sit in a canoe or on the deck of a cruiser. Always looks and feels good. I am replacing these shirts only because they don't take to paint very well.
