I've used this type of shirt from LLBean for years because they afforded sun protection while being cool. These are hot! The fabric is completely different.
They are also significantly larger than they used to be; more than an inch from shoulder to shoulder and about one inch in the sleeve.
The tropic shirts are great. Provide added protection from UV rays and reduce the requirement for sunscreen on arms. Design is very comfortable and pockets are ideal for holding a smartphone. Excellent value with a design that is superior to other similar shirts costing twice as much.
