bought this for my husband so I could get the first one I gave him off to wash it. It's great for kayaking, motor boating, golfing, any outdoor activity. It's cool even on the hottest days, keeping the harmful rays off.
I'm outside a lot in Texas. I got one of these for outside work this summer. It may block the sun and wick moisture away, but if you wear it in the sun in Texas there will be moisture...its hot. Light colored denim is much cooler.
My husband bought this shirt for our last trip and it is now his absolute favorite. Even though the weather was hot, he felt cool in the shirt and he didn't get sunburned. It's great for washing out in the hotel sink and it's ready to wear the next morning. I just ordered another one in a different color. Great color and fit and it looks great.
Shirt fits great in the shoulders (my size was large) a little long, but just tuck it in. Wore shirt in the rain today and it was dry within a few minutes. The material is very lightweight, great for spring/summer/early fall. I like the tie backs for the sleeves.
