This shirt is light and very breathable. Over the past 6 years I have purchased this shirt and noted the fabric changes made. This season the shirt fabric has a silky feel more so then previous shirts with the same title.
The one area that future purchasers should be aware of is this years shirt is cut much larger then previous years shirts with the same name. I have always ordered an Extra Large and did so with my order of three shirts for this year. When the shirts arrived I noted they fit like a double extra large and the sleeves were at least one inch longer. So I returned the shirts and will re order the same shirts in a size large.
I was a bit disappointed with the cut and fabric on this shirt. Considering the high price tag I guess I was looking for a more substantial fabric and generous cut. The buttons were held nicely, but the overall fabric seemed like it wouldn't hold up for me. The color was a little different from the web-site which also added to my decison to return.The most annoying part was the tight sleeves in the biceps. I'm not a body builder in the least bit, but once I rolled up the sleeves and attached them to the top side buttons I felt like they were strangling my biceps. I also didn't like the feel of the mesh fabric used, a little too course for my soft skin. Although the web description clearly states this is a summer shirt I was hoping for a higher quality garment.

Most comfortable shirt and more so on a Hot day. Very light and easy to move about in. Roll up sleeves a real plus. Not crazy about the button down collar but I leave it un buttoned. Great with tropical pants or shorts. Great colors.
I previously purchased a short-sleeved version of this shirt, but wanted the long-sleeved version as well. I love the feel -- it's soft, very light on the body, and cool because of the weight of the fabric and the mesh that completley lines the back yoke.
Features abound:
* two velcro-fastenend, flapped breast pockets * a single velcro strap that holds sunglasses or keeps a strap over your shoulder located properly for carrying comfort * a buttoned strap inside the upper portion of each sleeve that keeps rolled-up cuffs from unrolling and out of the way * a large yoke that keeps you cool.
It looks a little bit different from any other shirt you own, is well-made, and comes in a few good-looking colors (and a few that might be not-so-good, but it's your call. I might get yet another one.
