This is my 2nd tropicwear shirt. My wife has 4! I can go from paleface to burning man in minutes and this shirt does a great job of screening the sun's rays. You can go from trail to restaurant easily. The mesh lining helps air circulation under the garment and keeps the fabric away from the skin. It ain't cheap, but it's well worth the price.
I read the reviews about the pastel peach colored shirt that was supposed to be orange but did not heed the warnings and I wound up with a very non-masculine hue! Needless to say I returned it in exchange for the more acceptable clay colored shirt. Otherwise the look and feel of the shirt was exactly what I wanted for a trip to the Congo. I just wish it had built in insect repellant like the pricier Ex-oficio shirts.
I was looking for something that was light and breathable since I was going to Nicaragua. I wanted protection from the sun and mosquitos. This shirt was perfect. It fit my needs perfectly. I'm glad I bought two. They'll be great for camping here in Michigan.
Shirt is definitely of good quality. Seams are strong and tight, buttons are sown on well, unlike many cheaper and even similarly priced shirts. Also, VERY comfortable. Useful loops and tabs. A great buy!
