After reading review's, I took the advice of many and ordered a size smaller. My husband usually wears a medium but the small fits great. He loves the shirt and the fit is exactly as it should be.
A great shirt that is very versatile for travel as well as any warm weather activity. The vents keep air circulating. The long sleeve version is nice in that the sleeves can be worn down for sun protection or cool weather or rolled up with the button tabs for hot weather. Nice pockets -- large and useful for holding a variety of items for traveling or any outdoor activity and the velcro closures open and close quickly. Very wrinkle resistant.
I recently purchased and traveled to the tropics with several shirts and pants from this collection. They were comfortable, looked decent (much better than the wrinkled cotton one sees around) and washed and dried quickly and easily. I was completely satisfied and thought they simply couldn't be better for hot, humid, and even rainy Caribbean islands.
I bought this shirt for my husband. It immediately went back. It is a shame because as far as construction goes, it was a very nice, quality shirt. However, the color was horrible! I know that sometimes catalog and internet photos do not show up exactly as they are in person, but the color of this shirt was so off of the photos that there is no way we could keep it. Not only did the color not match, but it was a terrible shade of green. I am really sorry we had to send it back but it was not something that I could see most men wearing.
