I am a "birder", and I love LL Beans Tropicwear pants and shirts when out in the jungle or forest looking for the next new life bird. They are cool, dry quick and are easy to wash and wear. However, the colours of the Tropicwear shirts never match or complement the colours of the Tropicwear pants. Just a little challenge for your product designers - MAKE TROPICWEAR SHIRTS AND PANTS THAT GO TOGETHER - a "Dustry Green" Tropicwear shirt does not match any of the 3 colour choices for the Tropicwear pants in the Spring 2011 catalogue. And, by the way, Birders don't wear white. White is an alarm call to birds and they fly away.
Would never have bought this had I realized it had a prominent LLBEAN logo monogrammed on it. Also the fit is rather sloppy. I wish LLBEAN would bring back the canvas shirts I like.
Sorry, the color was awful: a bright pea green instead of the soft blueish green I saw on the website. The fit was one size too large. My husband wears L, but this was sized like an XL--to wide in the shoulders and body, sleeves looked blousy, length WAY too long. Fabric was very nice. My husband didn't like the pocket design--covers over the tops.
