My husband loves these shirts when we are sailing in warmer weather; they keep the sun off and the cool tradewinds flow through. I also have the long sleeve white shirt but chose a man's size L because the women's Tropicwear shirts are too fitted for comfort in the heat. The sunblock properties really work; we have been in scorching hot sun and no sunburn! I intend to take my shirt to Kenya in February this year for that very reason. Highly recommend this shirt for its quality and comfort.
I've been buying these shirts for my husband for awhile now. He likes them as he travels to some very hot places on business and they are light weight, a feature that also makes for compact packing. They would not be appropriate for wear with a business suit but look nice with slacks. I like them because they come out of the laundry looking neat.
The shirt has an unusal finish, which did not suit the person for whom I bought it. I got overwhelmed by all the products and thought it was just another cotton shirt.
