The "hand" of the fabric is rather plastic like and not to my husband's taste at all. Ordinarily I would return (paperwork thrown out inadvertently) or co-opt for garden work for myself, however I really dislike the feel of the fabric. Not for us.
I get sun poisoning and must cover every inch of my skin if I'm outside. I have found that the Tropicwear shirts, which I have bought for years, protect me, that's why I keep buying them every other year to make sure they continue to do the job I need. I'm female, but buy men's Tropicwear shirts because I need the longer sleeves so I can protect my hands without wearing gloves all the time.
This shirt is like wearing nothing. It is very light and breatheable. Great for outdoor conditions. I highly recommend this shirt to any fishermen, hikers, campers, etc. It will keep you cool and flexible.
