The men's product is extremely well made. After trying other brands, LL Bean wins hands down. Holds shape after washing, very durable, colors do not fade, and the sun shield rating is very high. Can't miss. Runs true to size. I now own several.
Durable, easy to wash, good SPF, long sleeves keeps sun and bugs, easy to roll sleeves up, quick drying, I wash it in the shower during long expeditions or simply wash it in rivers to brush off mud, or wear it wet to keep cool.
Cons Hot for warm weather
I have 5 of these in various colors. The only issue is in hot climates you'll sweat more as the material doesn't breath like cotton, so its good to get it loose fit. There are vents on the back but its not enough. When the sun goes down, it gets chilly even in the tropics so then the shirt shines then, plus long sleeves keeps mosquitos at bay.
A shirt that does it all, sleeves up or down, one or both. Unbuttoned outer wear in the summer, a colorful and sturdy layer any other time. The darn thing even has a place to hang ur sunglasses.
