This shirt has been all over New England through the summer, and to Jamaica, the Dominican, and Florida. This is my absolute favorite tropic weight shirt. It is well ventilated front and back, and is the perfect cool material to endure the tropical heat and humidity. I was recently stopped and asked where I purchased the shirt. The Lady's husband was sweating through cotton T-shirts, and I was cool and comfortable. She noticed! I told her it was as simple as LLBean.com
I have tried a number of these from various companies. I find them either cut for someone with arms maybe three inches longer than mine or just not big enough. The L.L. Bean version of this fits me exceptionally well, it's comfortable in a variety of temps, it washes and dries overnight - it's absolutely what I have been looking for in a travel or tropicware shirt.
Well-constructed, properly sized. Nylon fabric dries quickly after it gets wet. Suitable for hot weather and cooler weather when worn with a t-shirt. Bellows pockets will accommodate medium-sized fly boxes or other items. Two loops for leader nipper or compass lanyard, very useful. Velcro pocket closures. The styling is kind of funky with the cape covering of breast pockets. Would prefer ordinary pocket flaps & non-button-down collar. Second one of these shirts I have had.
Way to big in the shoulders and torso. I debated on a medium or large and went with the medium but it was huge. Sending back to find out I have to pay for shipping-- last llbean order
