I bought this shirt as a gift for my husband, an avid fisherman. He has another just like it in aqua that he wears non-stop during the summer, so this one is insurance in case the other goes overboard. In fact, though, he wears it to work because it's "too new" to wear on the boat.
I have a closet-full (actually two) of fishing shirts. They look great when they come back from the cleaners (neither my wife or I iron any more), but look like a wreck after a day out on the water, so I decided to add one more, Bean's Tropicwear shirt, to the collection. Well, it's a great shirt. The fabric is just plain terrific: soft to the touch, hard to wrinkle, light weight. The cut is generous (I am not a small guy) and comfortable. Pull it out of the dryer, hang it up, and it is ready to do it again. I will be getting more, and giving the old shirts to Goodwill.
I bought two of these for travel in Rwanda, Africa. They were comfortable and cool. They stood up well to hand washing and dried very quickly (easily overnight). They didn't stain at all (even when I got a small cut on my arm and got blood on the shirt). I loved the tabs for rolling up the sleeves. Can't say enough good things about this shirt. I only wish they had more colors/patterns available.
