I bought this shirt after a long search to find a sun protective shirt in a women's plus size. Apparently no one thinks plus size women are active outdoors. This men's shirt fits well, covers the back of the neck and is comfortable in warm weather. L.L. Bean is my new go to supplier for active wear.
Purchased 3 shirts as part of my very limited items for three weeks in Alaska. Total pack, clothing, etc. was 15 lbs. Fifteen flights, motor coach and old school bus miles, train, and boat trip, washing out clothes in sinks as needed, with no ironing, and these shirts looked/felt GREAT the next wearing. They shed food/drink/dirt EXTREMELY well. They resisted body odors and looked fine even after a fourth day of wearing if sink washing was not performed. Did wear a poly-t under garment.. Matter of fact, I only wore two of the shirts the whole trip. The third didn't come out of the pack. Alaskatastic product for me!!!
The shirt itself is not bad but I ordered the "pastel lime" which, in the picture is a muted color. The actual color is more like the bright yellow/green of a road worker's safety vest. If you buy this shirt, avoid this color choice [unless, of course, you need a safety vest color.]
