This is the third one of these shirts I bought from LL Bean. Had the first one now for 8 years. Though faded, my first one is still in perfect condition. The material wears like iron. It is roomy and comfortable. In cooler months it is warm if worn over a tee shirt. In hot weather, it remains cool and dry worn alone.
I wash it in warm or cool water with other colored clothes and no fabric softener. Never put it in the dryer. Put on a hanger immediately out of the washer. It air dries before the rest of the washer load is finished in the dryer.
The quality and colors (no fading) are excellent on these shirts. Great summer shirt that keeps you cool in the heat and humidity. I own three of them. My only ask to LL Bean is lower the top button below the collar to allow more neck room but then I have a size 18 neck...
The shirt is well made of nice, soft fabric and fits true to size. It's perfect for my husband, who doesn't like to wear sunscreen and doesn't want to be hot.
This is a great shirt for someone who works outdoors. Since Bean rarely has light colored long sleeve tees for men, this shirt totally fits the bill. It breaths, comes in light, reflective colors, AND has the benefit of SPF 50 woven into the fabric. An excellent product!
