The shirt itself is excellent looking and feeling. However, I checked the sizing chart before ordering and it said 42"-44" Chest = Large. My jacket size is 43, so Large seemed to be the perfect choice and I ordered it. Unfortunately, two hippopotamus's could probably swim inside the shirt. If I wore a size 48-50, it might work. So the shirt is going back,and I will try a Medium size. If that works, I'll update this review. but don't be misled by the promotional copy. I would recommend the shirt based on the shirt itself, but get the sizing right!
Very nice-looking shirt. Bought 2 for my husband before going on a hiking vacation. He has a sun allergy which causes his arms to break out in itchy bumps, so sun block doesn't work. He said the shirt kept him cool and of course, he had no issues with the sun on his arms. Worked great for hiking and are nice enough to wear to a nice restaurant.
As a photo-journalist who spends much of the year living out of a rucksack, I find these shirts to be indispensable! They wash out in the sink and hang dry overnight (or quicker depending upon the climate I am in). Perfect for those who want to still look presentable while traveling lite!
I took this shirt to Colombia and could not have been cooler. The shirt washes easy by hand and dried it with a hair dryer in just a few minutes. Nice and cool and sleeves can be rolled up in the heat and down when in the sun. Good quality.
