This is a handsome and very practical shirt. Most comfortable in hot weather, thanks to the light, sun resistant fabric, and the back vent. One criticism though... this style should deb available in a Small-Short size, so that when wearing it out of one's trousers, the tail and front wouldn't look so long. Otherwise... great!
I wore this while mowing the lawn in the hot summer sun yesterday. While I had summer shorts on, my legs got hot from the sun beating down on me, yet the core of my body stayed comfortable as I was wearing my tropicwear shirt which kept my upper body cool. Amazing! I never expected to have this result.
I ordered a medium for my 5'10" 170 lb husband instead of his usual large per other reviewers recommendations. It shipped in a timely fashion. Looked great, but was too small especially in the arms. I returned it for exchange and am hopeful that large will fit.
Since 2010 we have bought 6 of these shirts, in various colors. They wash very easily, drip dry quickly and do not need ironing. They have been most useful on trips to places like national parks but can also serve in less rustic situations. We've had no trouble with buttons, loose threads, etc. The tabs for roll-up sleeves and sleeve adjustments at the wrist are helpful.
