Especially good for hot weather, does not hold sweat like cotton. Good in wet weather. Wore it daily for a week's hike in wet, cool Galicia. Performed very well. Breast pockets will hold medium-sized fly boxes. Also good for travel to carry pass-port & other needed items. Wash & hang up, it dries fairly quick. Funky styling with cape covering pocket tops instead of flaps. Flaps would be preferable. Would prefer non-button-down collars.
This is a great shirt. I ordered two, and they are very comfortable. I recently moved from New Jersey to North Carolina and thought these would be good for the hotter weather. As I have had skin cancers, I also liked the the protection they offer from the sun's rays. I'm glad I got them and highly recommend them.
