Great shirt! It protects my husband from sun while driving, golfing, or on the River. It is cooler than a cotton tee, so he does not mind wearing long sleeves in summer heat and humidity. This is his third of this shirt. He bought two last year and wanted to add to his collection.
Most times the XL shirts from Bean fit me fine - this one was tight across the shoulders and small/pinching in the armpit area. Other than that I liked the material and design.
When I was young I often went shirtless in the summer in Florida. Today the Dermatologist is my friend. I like this long sleeved white shirt because it both protects me from the harmful rays of the sun and in addition is as cool as this type of shirt can be. I also look like a natty dresser.
