The blue is robin egg's blue - XL is very XL. Washed once and looks good. My husband takes a L/XL - this shirt is extra large. He likes it; decided to keep it.
As a 68-year old blond surfer born into the beach life in Southern California, my skin is shot. All I wear are Tropicwear shirts to look good and protect my skin at the same time. Very soft and durable, the large front pockets with velcro are great for sunglasses, chap stick, pens, eye drops, etc. The vented backs and sides make them comfortable for power walking at the beach and hiking in the Sierras. The shirts are light weight, but sturdy in their construction, the colors are vibrant. The shirts are very comfortable and look excellent. A good value for the price.
