Purchased this for a backpacking trip in the Smokies recently and it performed flawlessly. Used it over 3 days and 2 nights to filter about 15 liters of water for our group. Water taste was great. Follow manufactures directions for proper use and cleaning and should last a long time. Great for backpacking but also to have for emergencies at your home.
Just back from a trip down the Allagash River in Maine and this filter was flawless. Pumped water for 9 days for two people and the water taste, clarity and odor was superb. Easy to clean and easy to use.
I purchased and used this filter for a three day backpacking trip in the Smoky Mountains. We had 5 people in our group and this was the only filter.
