I ordered all 3 sizes of this bag figuring it wouldn't be a problem finding a use for each. In vehicles for carrying groceries and such, storing camping gear, picnics, parties, etc. They're made with fairly heavy material and lined for water resistance, zippers seem to be of decent quality.
The handles do wrap completely around the bottom so they should handle some heavy loads.
My biggest gripe is the lack of a shoulder strap. I would have gladly paid a few more dollars for a basic matching strap rather than having to buy one elsewhere. There are two plastic/polymer D rings, one above the zipper end and one between a carry handle on one side for a strap of your choosing.
If you're looking for a study, well build, bag the will take some abuse these would be a good choice.
I got this bag in Camo in the Extra large size and the Mossy Oak in the medium size. I love them! The zippers are heavy duty. The bags are lined so if something gets spilled in them it's easy to wipe them clean! I got the medium sized one to use as a purse. For me it works great. Although I would love it if it had a pocket outside as well as inside(there are none)!
This tote bag is made for people like me who seem to have problems with their lunch items or thermos leaking. I have always used the LL Bean natural canvas totes and love them, but I can't tell you how many times I've had to wash out stains because one of my containers leaked. This rubber lining is the perfect solution! And I got the olive color which I really like, and the green straps are just a tad brighter green making for a nice but subtle contrast. It's perfect for taking to work with my lunch and some magazines or book for the commute, and the zip top is great for rainy days. The zipper and fabric are all very sturdy. Tip: I took the plastic 'bottom' of one of those re-usable grocery bags and tucked it under the interior zipper flap along the side so that the tote will easily stand up straight on its own. I've already gotten quite a few compliments on it and have only been using it for a month. LOVE it.
