I got this bag to keep my chain saw accessories together in one spot. It is just the right size to hold a gallon jug of bar and chain oil, eye and ear protection, gloves, extra chains, chain sharpening kit, etc. The zipper is large and should hold up well.
The best thing about this bag is first, the wonderful customer service. Be careful when choosing the size you think you want. I had to exchange twice but, Customer Service made it easy breezy. I finally ended up with the L and I like it a lot. I'm using it as an everyday gym stuff, errand stuff, just commuter stuff bag. The XL was way too big and the M is way too small.
I used this bag on my yearly trip to the Salmon River in Upstate New York. The bag kept all my gear dry in the drift boat during a down poor. Its hardy and of good construction. The Velcro is a little to aggressive and tends to be too good.
Simply put: these hunter's totes are water resistant, easy to clean, easy to carry, and look great. I have a set of green and then a separate set of black ... in airports, nobody has them, so they're quite easy to find, too. Definitely worth the cost, and because they zip at the top and have a lining, are good in all kinds of weather, hunter or not!
