It's my fault - I didn't read the description carefully. I love LL Bean's canvas bags and have purchased several of them. I thought I was purchasing another one, just in olive green for my nephew. So I was disappointed in the material which isn't stiff and sturdy like the canvas bags. It's a very nice bag and I would recommend it; it's just not the bag I wanted or thought I was ordering. All my fault.
I purchased this bag in XL size last year for my husband for Christmas. He is VERY hard on his bags. He is a big hunter...of all things that fly...and I have to tell you it has held everything from wet waders to shotgun shells to collars and leashes and equipment for dogs, and he uses it everywhere he goes. I am purchasing one for our son this year...and maybe for my brothers and nephews. What a great bag!

I am a frequent traveler with my work and love this bag. I purchased the largest size, which is huge. I use it instead of a roller board or duffle bag since it hold as much but easily fits even the smallest overhead storage. The straps are very sturdy; overall the bag is well constructed. Material is durable and doesn’t get dirty after all my trips. A must!
