Bought these pants for my son to walk his dog in the cold PA winters. He said they are nice and warm but a little tight. We got a Large first time then returned for a XL. His wife makes fun of the way they fit (Tight) but he he said they serve the purpose for dog walking and he's keeping them! He didn't want anything big and bulky to wear. We were going to try a pair of the flannel lined jeans but were afraid how "heavy" they would be when they got wet from the snow!
My all around favorite winter pants for working out during the cold season. My only complaint is that it pills a lot! I've had other brands for over 5 years that didn't pill but can't find it anymore so I gave these a try. I run, cross country ski and bike with these and they keep me warm with no complaints. Stretches enough to be comfortable working out. I only wish the material didn't pill so much. But I like the fit, athletic, so I bought another pair.
These are great for X-C skiing.... hiking and cold weather biking ,too My first pair of Sporthill X-C pants lasted 15 years ! Hope this newest version are just as durable. The fit is bigger than the older models though.
