I was looking for traditional snow pants for my husband at the last minute so we could take our young boys sledding and these are all LLBean had left in stock. I was hesitant at first but he loved them from the beginning! He wears them sledding as well as to shovel and snow blow. He wears long underwear underneath when it's really cold out, and finds them to be warm and comfortable. He's also found them true to size. WHile I initially felt they were pricey I now feel they're well worth the money. Nice job LLBean!
Legs are too tight and tailored for my taste. This is not a general purpose outdoor pant. It is a cross country ski pant. Indeed, the label on the garment says as much. I think the online advertising was misleading in this regard. I returned it.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, warm even in bitter winds
These pants perform as advertised. I received them on a windy day with an extreme cold warning in Ontario. I put them on and did my usual outside chores and was almost too warm! -25C, high winds, blowing snow. These are now also my winter running and nordic skiing pants. Amazingly comfortable and warm.
