HOLDS UP WELL
PostedJuly 9, 2010
ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected
Have had this tent for 3 years and love it. Easy to set up with two people in about 10 minutes. We use a huge tarp under so that we also have a floor for the screen room. The one drawback is that the screen room is just that, screens. It would be so helpful if the rain flap covered the sides so that gear would not get wet. The inside will hold 2 queen airbeds side to side with a bit of room in front. We have used this tent for the entire summer and it survived the rain last year without ever getting a leak. I just wish this came in a larger size as now we have 5 in our family!

Great Quaility Tent But.....
PostedJune 12, 2010
This is a great tent, the quality of this tent is exceptional.
Pros:
Easy to setup (rain fly does take two people to put on as previous reviews have stated).
Very waterproof on the tent side (the best of any tent I have ever owned)
Zippers very easy to use and work flawlessly.
Pockets inside very convenient.
Fiberglass poles are heavy duty and strong.
Tent help up well in a rain storm with no issues
Added floor protector fit well
Cons:
My wife and I are over 6ft tall and this tent does not accommodate our height well.
The tent side can only accommodate one queen size air mattress with barely enough room for gear inside the tent half.
Screen side definitely will get water inside during storms, so nothing can be left on the floor that you do not want wet.
After all the cons I stated I think this tent is still a great tent for a weekend camp trip for two people. My wife and I decided to let our children use this tent as they are younger and not as tall. Their two cots can fit on the tent side with plenty of room in between and underneath them for all their gear.
We will be purchasing the LL Bean Woodman's eight person tent which will give us the room we need for our upcoming 2 week camping trip.

Great family tent
PostedJune 2, 2010
We looked everywhere for the right family tent... this is a perfect fit! Recommend for family of 4. Love the screened in area for two people to sit in or for clothing etc. One problem...the directions were lacking!!! Better instructions for set up would be greatly appreciated. Met another family camping and they said the same thing. How difficult to figure out the initial assembly because of the lack of detailed directions. The color coding is helpful for assembly. The pockets on the interior are great too.

a great "second home"

The tent was easy for me to put up: 15 min. by myself. The fly is another story. I went on line, looked at video and the photos and still couldn't figure out how the ridge pole fit. I just threw the whole thing over the tent and then it was obvious. A few diagrams would be helpful. However, I have two beds, a table, two chairs, bookcase and gear in it and room to spare. I really like the screened top. it should be great in hot weather. I set it up on my deck to check it out and find myself eating and reading outside in my tent. It is very waterproof and good in med. wind, but it is cold. Wouldn't use in the winter. Only disappointed that there are no poles for the back awning.
