I was disappointed when I felt this sweater was of a scratchy breed of sheep. The Merino wool must have been carded with another breed. (Various breeds of sheep have softer fibers than others.) Merino is supposed to be soft and not itchy at all. The young man who received this sweater from me as a gift likes to wear turtlenecks...he liked the style, so it was a keeper anyway.
Love it! Big, bulky, wear with jeans and long sleeve t underneath. Large rolled cuffs, and pads on both shoulders and elbows is a nice effect. Also, as a left hand guy, it allows me to go shooting without support only on opposite side.
Great for a Saturday lunch in cold or chilly weather. Must be worn with jeans and boots, preferably; if I may dress others.
