I've wanted one of these for a while. Its great. This is a snug fitting sweater. So many clothes are over sized these days that I can get away with buying a large. The XL fits me perfectly.
Having a desk job, I wear suits most of the time during the week. I do like to get out on weekends, doing some cycling, hiking or just a trip to the coast. It's not always easy to find some quality gear that is functional AND looks stylish as well IMHO, but this sweater sure is one of those exceptions. Looks great on jeans and a nice pair of (Corcoran) military boots... Quality of the wool is the best I've been able to find (and much better than those low cost acrylic sweaters that look similar). As a side, buying from LLBean prooved to be a flawless international transaction!!!
So I bought this a week or so ago, getting ready for the cool fall weather. I have been disappointed, not by the sweater, but by the warm weather.
I had one of these sweaters when I was much younger and it seemed a bit thicker, but this one isn't too bad. It is a tad on the small size. I am about 5'10" and 185lbs and the large is snug on me through the chest, but long on the torso. The arms seem to fit fine.
It would be nice if it was made in the US or Canada.
Once we get some cold weather I will give an update.
