The quality is there, as in all LL Bean sweaters. I thought it would be lighter than it actually is, it is quite heavy and very warm. Looks great with jeans and a T shirt underneath, I have also worn it with collared shirts. I have received compliments every time i have worn it.
This is going to be an exceptional Christmas gift for a very favorite nephew. Some of his work requires being out of doors. I know this will help him be warm and cozy and will also look professional when he meets with clients.
