My husband had a sweater similar to this from another company that he'd had for years. We needed a replacement. This fit the bill nicely. I was worried the wool would be itchy but he wore it right out of the box and hasn't been bothered at all. We've washed it delicately once and laid it flat to dry and it looks great. The navy one looks a teeny bit heathered which I love. The canvas-y patches on the elbows and shoulders add a casualness that we were looking for. Very good looking!
This sweater is just what I was hoping it would be when I ordered it. Size feels true. It is a bit slimmer cut than many today, but that's as it should be. Long and thin enough to tuck in, it's still amazingly warm. A great second layer.
Some initial scratchiness, but I don't noticed it now after a couple days of wear. For the price, it's a great product. I came back and ordered a couple more in case they disappear.
Haven't had it long enough to speak to durability, but it has all the qualities I look for in a long lived item. It's wool instead of cotton, the arm and shoulder patches take the brunt of the wear and the knit is tight. I'm looking forward to many great years out of it.
