The looks of this sweater are great, but the sizing is way off. I am 6'3" and ordered the Large/Tall. This is a VERY trim fitting sweater, and the length in both the sleeves and hem seems very short. It does not feel like a tall size at all. It felt very constricting. After the first wash.....I think it got even smaller. Great looks, deceptive sizing.
Very nice and warm sweater, the patches on the shoulder are very flattering, the materiel the patches are made out of could be of better quality, but the look is good- I feel like it was worth the purchase price
This is the third one we've bought over the years--they last almost forever. Very warm, fits snugly, great for walks in winter over a flannel shirt and under a down vest.
Some of the reviewers say that the wool is scratchy. I didn't think so at all. The only softer wool that I've owned is merino or cashmere. The lambswool is perfectly comfortable, even with a short sleeved shirt underneath.
The cut is a little big on me. If LLBean had an XS, I would have gotten it.
This is quite a warm sweater. It's been great on a cool morning motorcycle rides.
The quality of the material and the construction seem top notch. I look forward to wearing it for many years to come.
