The quality of this sweater is superb. The fit is generally great - I am 5'9" and 165 lbs and the Medium size works great if you are on the leaner/fit side. I also really like the color - Deep Woods Green Heather (which is really a complex brownish green color). I want to love it, but the torso length is way too long. I compared the length to my other sweaters (including 3 other LL Bean sweaters) - and the length is a full 2 to 3 inches longer. The sweater basically covers my whole butt. This is ridiculous. Other reviews mention the long arm length, but I find that the cuff style lends itself to customizing the arm length. No complaints there. The torso length makes no sense. If they would shorten it to a standard length - I would probably buy 3 other colors.
Order the sweater to replace one that I worn for years. The new one is ok but is more tailored, therefore the fit is tighter. Wish you offer the sweater in a wider fit.
