My husband chose this sweater and loves it. It's a classic style and very warm. It looks nice too - the first day he wore it he got at least three compliments from strangers.
I loved the looks of this sweater, which is the reason I purchased it fir my son. I was disappointed when I received it however. The description of it said it was made of cotton and lambs wool so I assumed it was a blend. It is not. The sweater was all wool except for the patches on the shoulders which were the cotton they were referring to in the description. For being “lambs wool”, the sweater was very stiff, scratchy and heavy. Rug like in my opinion. It was not true to size as it was a very tight and uncomfortable fit on my son who always wears a medium. It was also longer than his other med sweaters so going up a size could not be an option. I was sorry to have to return it. LL Bean promptly sent me a return label at no charge and it is now on its way back to them. I am awaiting a refund .
Great sweater. Looks great, feels great and is very warm and not too bulky. The sweater is slightly fitted. I now have this sweater in 3 colors -wish they made it in tan...
Wow, I have bought 3 of these Merino Sweaters in different colors, and oh my to my surprise they are very warm and worth every penny that I paid for them! Not to mention that they are very stylish as well! 5 Star purchases all the way!!!
