i wear one religiously when hunting and snow blowing. when layered correctly, 1 light tee and 1 medium tee, I rarely need anything but a light raincoat over top to shed the snow & water when doing the heavy snow blowing for my senior and less abled neighbors. often for 5-6 hours at a crack on Lake Erie's wintry shores. it's wool, it itches. a long sleeve mock turtle neck tee underneath fixes that easy enough. if you keep it dry it will keep you warm.
I found this sweater while trying to replicate the one worn by Daniel Craig’s Bond in the third act of “No Time to Die” (yes, really). This sweater seemed almost a dead ringer for the film version, and when it arrived I found it to fit perfectly. Not overlong or scratchy, quality construction and materials, and a stylish fit made this a great purchase. As a former Mainer LL Bean has always been “the” outdoor brand, and it was fun to rediscover it in this way.
The sweater was bought in a medium fits more like a small with very long arm length. Was told by rep. it needs to be folded but even with the fold it is very long and loose. Very odd sizing for such a nice sweater.
