It is such a shame. This is a very well designed British commando jumper, great finishing, nice fabric, nice colour, robust... I could have seen it become a lifelong partner, yet the design of the body may be OK, the length of the sleeves simply makes it impossible to wear. They are too long. Way too long. Especially since the design already implies the cuffs, and i my case I needed more than double cuffing! Shame, as I would have loved to wear this. Let me know when you review the design, as I am certain I am not alone in this case - I have read similar comments. Sleeves are proportionally at least 2 to 3 inches too long. I am European. let's say 15 cm. At least.
It's a nice sweater, the wool is comfortable and it's warm, and the color is great. The sleeves, however, are very long and a little baggy, even when cuffed. Also, the torso is a little bit long, but that is not really as bad as the sleeves. There are not many options for people of my height and weight from L.L. Bean, their sizes run consistently too large, but this sweater fit well otherwise. The sleeves are just too long.
Comfortable, rugged, soft & warm. Great fit. Got the Navy Blue, think I'm getting a black one too! Highly recommended. + Lots of complements...
