I bought this beautiful sweater for my English husband. Got a discount and received it in three days. Fits like a glove. Could you ask for anything better?
I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband and he loved it. Which seems ordinary on the surface, but this is a guy who hates traditional wool sweaters, and insists on wearing his old acrylic Cosbyesque patterned sweaters from the 80s. The merino wool is soft enough for him to feel comfortable, and he's actually worn it several times. His grandfather served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in England during the war, so anything with a touch of military character makes him happy. He's a bit on the short side, so the sleeves and body length are a bit much, which is the only issue - I do wish Bean had more choices for men under 5'7", but overall, we're both happy. Who knows, I may pick up another one in a different color for the next birthday or Christmas gift giving cycle...
Love this sweater a lot, but the sleeves are a good 6 inches too long. I thought maybe it was just incredibly baggy on purpose, then I looked at reviews and product images, and realized that these are clearly just oddly made. Very frustrating, the sleeves are already cuffed. Bought this for my engagement too. I loved it, but had to keep pushing and rolling the sleeves to hide all the extra fabric. Not sure why it is like this. Can't exactly trim the sleeves down either with the patches. I actually hopped back on today to see if there was an extra small due to the extreme length of the sleeves, without any luck.
I always wanted a commando sweater.Well, now I have one.Fits like a glove, better quality than expected (quality standards in the U.S. have gone downhill since the 1990's).This is well made..should last me a long time..now mind you..this is wool..old school outdoor wear..its not for next to skin..throw on a baselayer, commando sweater, vest, and a wool hat..then HELLO OUTDOOR WINTER ADVENTURE here I come..lol..love the sweater
