I love this sweater. It's warm and looks great. It's slim fitting and the ribbed wool is a really nice style. The sleeves are a bit long on me, even when rolled back, but it's not that big a deal. It did have a weird smell right out of the package, but after hand washing and letting it air out, it is fine. I will probably buy the Henley version in another color in the near future.
I am able to wear this sweater with a ski vest in single digit tempertures here in the mountains of NH when running errands and walking my dogs. Obviously for longer periods outside a "parker" is necessary but I hate to drive my truck wearing one. The quality is excellent and the look is manly. I ordered a black one and am going to order another one in the dark blue color.
I am a pastor in a Lutheran church so I where black all the time. This black sweater is perfect to wear at work with my clerical outfit. Feels very comfortable throughout the day,
Got this for my hubby, sure glad I did. It has a vintage military look to it. He looks great and of course cozy. Warning: once you've worn wool every other fabric is substandard. Yes, u must hand wash, but big deal. Our grandparents had it figured out, wool rocks.
