Bought this sweater for my elderly father. Dad proudly wears this, it’s a step up from the variety of clothing he would purchase. Tall size is great for the extra length needed in the sleeve. The blue is a great color for the man with baby blue eyes!
Good sweater, nice material but WAAAYYY too long. The sleeve cuffs were already turned up when I got it and still had about 4 extra inches below my hands. If I pulled them up to reveal my hands, there was so much bagginess in the arms that it was intolerable. Immediately returned.
My sweaters are my go to garment for keeping warm. They work well the other things in my wardrobe and can be worn with a sport coat or suit coat as well.
First I would like to say this is not an actual wool commando sweater. It is a replica of a wool commando sweater. I have an actual wool commando sweater purchased in the 1980's. It is made in the United Kingdom and very heavy and warm. It is getting old so I was looking for a replacement. This sweater is made in China and is lightweight in comparison. Not that it's not a nice garment. It would look great at the coffee house or wine bar. Makes me look like someone who spends time outdoors. However, I was looking for a sweater that would actually keep me warm when I spend a cold day outdoors.
