I ordered the medium and it is a perfect fit. I'm 5'9", 165lb, about 39" chest.
The "Deep Woods Heather Green" looks brownish-green to me in the photos, but in person is completely brown - no hint of green whatsoever. I liked the green look, but it's not a deal breaker.
It's not cheap, but I figured I would pay once for the high quality instead of messing around with the $30 knockoffs or army surplus stuff.
if you're looking for a medium weight sweater to wear on it's own or under a coat this is absolute perfect.
The fabric is soft and supple, the knit is beautiful, the color is attractive and professional and best of all it is warm.
The quality of this sweater is absolute unbelieveable. Looking at the picture doesn't do it justice, as the finer details are lost. When I purchased it initially I had no idea what I was getting, but pulling out of the bag revealed the true quality of the product. It feels substantial, heavy construction, but lightweight. The cuffs are pre-rolled to the perfect length (for me) but could easily be shortened or lengthened for the individual. Perfect amount of room in the waist, arms and chest. I normally wear a big-medium or small-large and the large fits me just perfect. I wear it under a rain jacket, leather jacket or peacoat on inclimate days and on it's own over a shirt when it's nicer out. I couldn't be happier.
The color is not quite what I expected, it is more on the brown side of green, like OD green with some added Fall colors. It looks sharp, feels fantastic and is built to last. Buy two, because you will want one to wear while the other is at the dry cleaners!
I purchased this as a gift for my husband. He tends to be chilly most of the time. This sweater is perfect to help keep him at a comfortable temperature indoors and out. The medium fits him perfectly, the green color is subdued and goes with any other color. Apparent quality in material and making of the sweater.
I love this sweater. The thick ribs give it added warmth under my leather jacket for cold days and colder nights. The extra long folded back sleeves come in handy for warming up cold fingers too. I highly recommend this high quality sweater. As an added bonus, I have received several compliments while wearing this sweater. An all-around winner in my book.
