This remains a classic. A must for northern deer hunting. After hours? Link it up with an oxford dress shirt and sport coat. A real time tested winner and great Christmas gift. I'm on my fourth one.
Ordered this in Black and tan. When I got my delivery I was impressed with the quality of the product. Very well built, but best of all the material, in addition to be warm, proved not to irritate my skin being almost fleece soft. I am very pleased with my purchase and firmly believe anyone who buys them will be too. They fit true to size (I ordered mine in the same size as my shirts and it fit perfectly). There is no doubt that in the winter months to come both sweaters will find lots of use.
Picked one up during a Spring sale, so looking forward to wearing it in colder weather. The quality appears to be decent and the wool isn't too itchy, but went up a size to comfortably wear a long sleeved base layer underneath. The knitting makes it feel like just a t-shirt would do, however. So four stars for a strong first impression, with another star to be added later if it performs as well as these first thoughts portend.
I have the black one, and I like it. It is warm and comfortable, and has a nice appearance. The leather shoulder patches allow me to wear a back-pack or hydro-pack while hiking, without wearing through the cloth. The leather elbow patches save me from going to the local sewing goods store in a year or two to buy elbow patches that the local dry cleaners would have to sew on.
